A school project on solutions for

the State Library’s wayfinding system

<  BACK TO WORK

As there are several rest/sitting areas throughout the State Library, be it in galleries or between rooms and stairs, my concept is to combine wayfinding arrows with the sofa.

Material: purple velvet sofa with yellow seaming line. Information is embroidered directly on the fabric.

WHAT I'VE MADE

. SIGNAGE .

These two solutions are wooden blocks stacked on top of each other, with each block represents a level. In order to indicate people which level they are in, the number of that level is made bolder and bigger; the side of the block is also painted to create emphasis.

Material: wooden blocks with printed text, which are painted on the side to indicate the current location of the viewer.
